Camelina Oil cold pressed
Free from GMO
Healthy cooking oil is obtained from the seeds of the Camelina (Camelina sativa L. Crantz.) cultivated in Finland using the cold-pressing method.
Greenfinn’s camelina oil contains 39% alpha-linolenic acid, which belongs to Omega 3 fatty acids (approx. 80 times more than in olive oil) and 15% linoleic acid, which belongs to Omega 6 fatty acids.
The use of these fatty acids helps to lower LDL cholesterol in the blood, significantly increase the level of EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid), and promote the health and well-being of the heart, blood vessels and brain.
Camelina oil has a variety of applications, including cooking, salad dressings, spreads, and margarines.
While it can resist frying temperatures, it is not recommended to heat camelina oil for extended periods of time.
The oil contains significant levels of omega-3 and omega-6 lipids, as well as vitamin E.
