Heartbene® (300g pack) is a patented mixture of Finnish flaxseed meal, plant sterols, and potassium and calcium salts.

Elixi Heartbene® helps maintain normal blood pressure* and lowers blood cholesterol levels**. Elixi Heartbene® is intended as part of a varied diet.

**Plant sterols have been shown to lower blood cholesterol. High cholesterol is a risk factor for developing coronary artery disease. The beneficial effect of plant sterols on blood cholesterol levels is achieved by consuming 1.5 g – 2.4 g of plant sterols daily. A daily dose (10g) contains 1.8 g of plant sterols.

Potassium and calcium
The product has a balanced potassium and calcium ratio. Potassium helps maintain normal blood pressure.

Plant sterols
Heartbene® contains plant sterols, which have been shown to lower blood cholesterol. High cholesterol is a risk factor for developing coronary artery disease. The beneficial effect is achieved by consuming 1.5–2.4 g of plant sterols daily. A daily dose (10 g) of Heartbene® dietary supplement contains 1.8 g of plant sterols. However, the disease is associated with several risk factors, and changing one factor may not necessarily be beneficial.

Elixi Flaxseed Meal
Heartbene® contains a lot of fiber thanks to the flaxseed meal it contains. 1/3 of the fiber is soluble and 2/3 is insoluble fiber. The flaxseed meal in the product also contains a lot of lignan. Lignan is a phenolic compound. Flaxseed meal contains hundreds of times more lignan than soy and rye, which are considered good sources.

Multibene
Heartbene® contains the patented and clinically studied Multibene ingredient combination. Multibene contains plant sterols, potassium, calcium and magnesium.
