Description
Vitamin D3 20 μg
The cod liver oil packed in a soft capsule naturally contains vitamin A and vitamin D, in addition to which it has been supplemented with vitamin D3, lanolin-derived cholecalciferol, available from sheep’s wool fat.
In nature, vitamin D is mostly found in fish fat, so high-quality fish oil has been chosen as the base of the product for Super Vitamin D. Natural fish oil ensures excellent absorption of vitamin D.
Vitamin D contributes to the normal functioning of muscles, bones and the immune system.

Additional Information
Vitamin D (ergocalciferol-D2, cholecalciferol-D3, alfacalcidol) is a fat-soluble vitamin that aids the absorption of calcium and phosphorus.
Having the correct quantity of vitamin D, calcium, and phosphorus is vital for forming and sustaining strong bones.
Sunscreen, protective clothes, restricted solar exposure, dark skin, and age may all make it difficult to get adequate vitamin D from the sun.
Vitamin D and calcium are used to cure or prevent bone loss (osteoporosis).
Vitamin D is also used with other drugs to treat low levels of calcium or phosphate caused by specific illnesses (such as hypoparathyroidism, pseudohypoparathyroidism, familial hypophosphatemia).
It may be used in kidney disease to maintain normal calcium levels and promote bone formation.
Breastfed infants receive vitamin D drops (or other supplements) because breast milk typically contains low levels of vitamin D.
