• Dong quai (Angelica sinensis) is also known as “women’s ginseng”. It is a perennial grassy plant whose branching stem can grow 40-100 cm high. Chinese bearberry grows in forests and thickets at an altitude of 2,500-3,000 meters above sea level in China, Japan, and the Korean peninsula.
• Dong quai has been used in traditional Korean and Chinese medicine (TCM).
• Dong quai and red clover are sources of phytoestrogens. Dong quai supports female well-being and red clover supports well-being, especially during menopause.
