The patented Elixi Glukobene® dietary supplement (300g package) is a unique blend of Finnish flaxseed meal, chromium, magnesium and pine bark extract.

The chromium in Elixi Glukobene helps maintain normal blood glucose levels.

Elixi Glukobene® is intended as part of a varied diet. The product is gluten-free.

Chromium
contains chromium, which helps maintain normal blood glucose levels. The recommended intake for adults is 50-200 micrograms of chromium per day. Chromium is needed more than usual by the elderly, diabetics and people exposed to stress. A daily dose (10g) of Glukobene® dietary supplement contains 240 micrograms of chromium.

Pine bark extract
contains 100 mg of bark extract.

Pine bark extract functions as an antioxidant, scavenging reactive oxygen and nitrogen species and inhibiting peroxide formation. It enhances the activity of antioxidant enzymes by boosting intracellular glutathione levels.

Fiber
Is a high-fiber product. It contains flaxseed meal, 1/3 of which is soluble and 2/3 is insoluble fiber.

Dietary fibre makes faeces heavier, larger, and softer. In general, bulkier faeces is simpler to pass, which reduces the risk of constipation. If you have loose, watery stools, fibre might help them solidify. Fibre absorbs water and provides weight to the faeces.

Magnesium
Magnesium promotes normal energy metabolism, helps reduce fatigue, and promotes normal muscle and nervous system function. The need for magnesium may increase, for example, as a result of celiac disease or diabetes.

Lignan
The flaxseed meal in the product comes with a lot of lignan. Lignan resembles soy flavonoids in structure. Flaxseed meal contains the most lignan of any plant product. Lignan is the most important domestic phytoestrogen.

Recommended Intake

Elixi Glukobene is recommended for use with breakfast or a snack, for example mixed with yogurt, porridge or smoothie.

Recommended daily dose:
2 measuring spoons, i.e. a total of 10g/day. The measuring spoon is on the packaging.
