More information
Omega 3 lowers blood pressure, lowers blood triglycerides, reduces joint inflammation in rheumatoid arthritis, nourishes brain and eye functions, prevents and alleviates dementia, depression, asthma, migraine, and diabetes, and lowers the risk of heart disease and ischemic stroke.
Fish oil may help diminish hyperpigmentation in numerous ways. Omega-3 fatty acids may reduce wound infections and speed up healing, making them effective in situations of hyperpigmentation caused by skin damage.
DHA can also decrease melanin formation, potentially reducing the risk of UV-induced hyperpigmentation.
A tiny body of research suggests that omega-3s may help with hair thickness and growth. However, further research is needed to prove this. If a person wishes to attempt omega-3s for hair health, the easiest way to receive them is through food, such as oily fish.
